Foundational Gymnastics is a great way to build strength, stamina, coordination and flexibility.
Originating from time tested gymnastic and yoga training methods. We use simple bodyweight exercises, floor drills and well as therapeutic mobility work and yoga like stretches to get you fitter, stronger and more flexible.
Everyone receives individual attention and all are free to work at their own pace and ability.

GST Schedule and Sign Ups
Our classes will strengthen your core, back, arms, legs – all major muscle groups. Begin with a general warm up, then on to fun floor drills, from there the hard work starts with core exercises, flexibility and strength training.
During each phase of the class, you will be given unique exercises tailored to your ability, and as you progress, you’ll learn new, more challenging exercises.
We follow a two day rotation, one focused on upper body work, the other on lower body and balance work.

Classes also alternate over two weeks, so students coming once a week will still see both days.
Week 1- Mon: Upper Body / Thurs: Balance/Lower Body
Week 2- Mon: Balance/Lower Body / Thurs: Upper Body
and so on….
We start with basics, and gradually build on them week by week, month by month. Most of our students are beginners and Coach Cole is great with beginners.
Beginners Note: Coach Cole specialises in working with newcomer adult athletes and knows how to deal with your personal needs, we don’t expect you to walk into class being able to touch your toes or to do a pull up. If you provide the will power we will get you there and beyond!
